Sunshine on Leaf!

After a couple of drab and dreich days the sun and blue sky is back and the leaves are blazing…   … And Eachann continues his efforts to fill the log store.  

Aga Time

After a lovely stroll on the hills in the warm sunshine  Eachann settled down for a little snooze by the Aga!

Another bright sunny day so a long walk was required to enjoy it. This morning we started our jaunt at Cleuchhead in the Sacur Geln. September Sun

This morning we walked from Appin Forest back towards Tynron. It was hot and still. Plenty  of Rowan berries, fluffy clouds and some major rolling by Young Master Eachann.

Autumn

This lovely autumn picture was taken by visiting friend on this day in 2015. It is Loch Ettrick situated a few miles away from Thornhill.    

Harvest Festival in Tynron Kirk

Tynron Kirk was filled with greenery from the hedgerows and gardens around the village. Villagers brought produce from their gardens, vegetable patches, workshops and kitchens to display.The Vintage Ensemble played for our entertainment and the sun shone through the beautiful stained glass windows. A lovely afternoon.
