From August 2018 Ghillie’s Bothy self catering holiday cottage has offer an electric vehicle charge point for the convenience of guests with electric vehicles (EV) or plug in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV).
The Rolec 7.2kW charge point has a Type 2 (Mennekes) un-tethered connector, so guests will need to bring their own charging lead. There is also a standard 13A 3 pin socket available.
Environmentally conscious guests can take comfort in the fact that electricity for Ghillie’s Bothy is bought from 100% renewable sources through Bulb Energy.
This facility is provided exclusively for guests of Ghillie’s Bothy and the cost for charging your car from 1st October 2022 is 33.763 pence per kWhour.
