DIRECTIONS

Please note that Sat Nav is a bit hit and miss, so please use these directions once you get to Penpont.

Travelling from Thornhill on the A702 you will pass through the village of Penpont.

After Penpont you will see red signs for Harbro Country Store.

After passing Harbro country store (on your right) you should take the next right turn (fork right – sign posted Tynron)

Follow this road until you come to Tynron village.

Take the first left turn just after the 30mph sign (Kirkland House gate is on your left at the corner)

Ghillie’s Bothy is the second drive on the right. You will see a slate and sandstone name plaque on the wall to the left.
