Little home made treats for our Easter guests and some biccies for our four legged visitor!
Ghillie’s Bothy has been closed for most of February and March to enable us to finish some renovations to the main house without causing a disturbance to guests. Yesterday morning’s walk took us up a little track through a wood. At the end of the track we found a piggy-wig basking in the early sunshine. Nearer the village we watched some tups tucking in to their breakfast and one handsome chap posing for the picture.
I like sheep! It was lovely to peep into the shed near the house to see how things were progressing. These little fellas were born yesterday. So were these. They’re being bottle fed.
After so much rain and cold weather it is just amazing to be outside without a hat, gloves and thermals! I even took my jacket off after the first mile!
On the way back to Tynron from Moniaive this morning I just had to stop the car and get out to enjoy this beautiful view.
This morning we were very happy to see our first lambs at the end of the lane. They were born about two weeks ago,
