Ghillie’s Bothy self catering holiday cottage offers an electric vehicle charge point for the convenience of guests with electric vehicles (EV) or plug in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV).
The Zappi 7kW charge point has a type 2 (Mennekes) untethered connector, so guests will need to bring their own charging lead.
Environmentally conscious guests can take comfort in the fact that electricity for Ghillie’s Bothy is bought from a green tariff.
This facility is provided exclusively for guests of Ghillie’s Bothy and the cost for charging your car from January 5th 2025 is 25 pence per kWh. We are happy to take cash or card payments for your usage at the end of your holiday. There will be a transaction fee for card payments of 1.7%.
There is a dedicated electricity metre for the EV charge point inside the Bothy which allows guests to calculate their energy consumption.
