Last night Young Master Eachann enjoyed watching Winterwatch!
This morning we enjoyed a lovely walk in the sunshine. Although very blustery we were happy to see patches of blue sky and white clouds. Alas, there is more rain forecast for this afternoon and snow tomorrow. Another cheery sight – lots of snow drops appearing down the lane.
Robert Burns was born on 25th January 1751 in Alloway near Ayr. He was the eldest of seven children. This portrait is considered the best likeness of Burns. It was painted by Alexander Naysmith who was a good friend. The portrait hangs in the Scottish National Portrait Gallery. For more information on his life and work: http://www.burnsmuseum.org.uk/

On one of our walks this week… …Eachann indulged in a bit of rolling practice… …and we met a scary snowman!
Making the most of the picturesque snowy scenery.
A very snowy walk with snow flakes the size of plates (well almost!) Eachann enjoyed it a lot.
Photo taken last week on a very cold and misty day after the first light fall of snow
