More Doggie Guests
These two handsome fellows are Bobby, a nine year old Border Collie and Olly a five year old Springer Spaniel. They came from Devon to enjoy a two week holiday at Ghillie’s Bothy in July.

After a slightly soggy walk this morning, a bit of rolling in the wet grass, greeting Charlie horse and checking the fields Eachann settled down in his blanky and towel nest for a well earned snooze!

Eachann enjoying a rummage around in the longish grass of the paddock. All our doggie visitors love the freedom of our fenced paddock. It is also a great place for their humans to sit and enjoy a morning cuppa or a G&T in the afternoon- weather permitting of course!
The weather over the last few days has been very grey and overcast so it was lovely to see these photos, which were taken by a visiting friend on a bright day in May when the Rhododendrons were in full flower.
Another hot day, an afternoon walk passing some new lambs only hours old, lunch with a view, a concert in St Ninian’s Church, a hot walk back over the hill and a crow.

Our guests at Ghillie’s Bothy this week had to get creative to stop being woken by the crows pecking at their car. The answer, a home made crow scarer made from plastic bags and the washing line!
